Ensure daily reporting of stock status for all hubs in Kenya and warehouse with proper circulation of the report to the required people.
Leading end of month stock reporting process together with the Financial Controller to ensure proper valuation and reporting of stock before the 5th of the subsequent month
-    Interfacing between finance and supply chain for stock reporting issues
-    Consolidation of monthly inventory reports
-    Validation of reported monthly stock data and correction of errors with proper identification of related stock movements together with Supply Chain Manager
Implementation of weekly stock counts in Kenya, development of weekly stock status reports every Thursday Close of Business and preparation of validation files for identification of critical stock issues in different areas
-    Communication discovered stock discrepancies to respective stock keeping areas
-    Receiving feedback for discrepancies identified
-    Correction of stock numbers as per explanations provided
-    Identification of critical stock issues necessitating immediate stock audit
•    Implementation and coordination of monthly/quarterly stock audits where required in all stock holding points in Kenya around the country in collaboration with the Mobisol Hub, Service Assurance Department & Supply Chain Manager.
-    Ensure tools for stock audits (validation files, stock taking sheets) are up to date and functional
-    Provision of expected stock numbers for the audited stock holding point
-    Development audit plans in consultation with the Supply Chain Manager
Follow up and recording of cases of missing stock / physical stock discrepancies identified from stock audits conducted in the respective stock holding points and ensure on-time submission to the Head of Supply Chain and Head of Finance by 8th of the following month
-    Ensure proper disciplinary action is conducted
-    Providing stock value of missing items for insurance claims or recovery from employees
-    Any other important action as required is taken
Improving and maintaining data accuracy for all Supply Chain Data in the Database (DB), including stocks of Contractors and Mobisol Hubs in consultation with the Logistics Officer through
•    Daily follow-up on
o    Missing items during handover report
o    Item movements report
•    Uncovering reasons for detected stock discrepancies in inventory figures.
•    Coordinating regular stock takings to clean up contractor (ITs and MTs) spare parts inventory in the DB, aligning closely with the Service Assurance Department.
Participating and providing trainings in organized meetings and trainings for areas especially on topics concerning management of stock (stock reporting and validation) and keeping of stock (stock value preservation) as shall be required.
Contributing ideas for the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) of Operations in Inventory Control, especially where directly applicable to assigned tasks including
-    Identifying gaps in the inventory management process
-    Reviewing inventory control policies and procedures
-    Documentation of other policies, processes and procedures to support the inventory control function
-    Improving working tools used in inventory control
